Planning Application:- Stage 3
Planning Permission is
usually required if you intend to significantly
alter your home in any way such as an extension,
loft conversion, change of use or dividing part
of your house for use as a separate dwelling.
There are certain proposals that do not require
a formal planning application as these are
within permitted development. We will be able to
advise you of the appropriate planning process
once we have visited the project site. In these
cases we advise obtaining a Certificate of
Lawfulness.
There are also other permissions that are
required. The most common being for Listed
Buildings, proposals in Conservation areas,
sites with Tree Preservation Orders (TPO's) and
Party Wall Awards.
Dependant on the above approach, our service may
include production of existing and proposed
plans, schedule of materials, research,
application administration, printing, OS
mapping, revisions and re-submissions as
required. We have a good working relationship
with most local councils and some London
boroughs. We are therefore in a good position to liaise with the council as
required on your behalf. If the local authority require
revisions, or the application is refused, we
guarantee to carry out a further redesign and
resubmission free of charge.
